He first grabbed the attention of legendary rapper Drake who offered him to sign a deal with his record label OVO Sound record in 2013. Early Life:

PartyNextDoor was born Jahron Anthony Brathwaite on the 3rd of July 1993 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. His mom is Jamaican while his dad is Trinidadian. Music was a huge part of his life and a passion he shared with both of his parents. His mom was heavily involved in the Church choir and Jahron tried out as well. He impressed several people before he was a teenager while he was already singing with the senior singers. Young Jahron also sealed with a little bit of weight issue but now the man is standing 6 feet 2. In high school, he didn’t get by the name PartyNextDoor instead he was known as Jahron B. Around this time he had his own studio at home and began spending his free time making tracks. He attempted to reach out to established producers as well as labels but no one was interested to make a deal with him. 

Career:

Jahron’s hard work finally paid off and by the time he was only 17 years old he was already being flown out to Los Angeles where he had a manager. It was then his music that shaped the music industry to other artists and it made its way to another Canadian sensation Justin Beiber. Jahron began working on his own stuff which would be known as The JAHRON B. COLLECTION, on there he did covers of Michael Jackson and Aaliyah. He started writing singles for other artists. When he was 18 years old, he first made a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell as a songwriter with the new moniker of PartyNextDoor. On the 1st of July 2013, he came up with the release of his debut mixtape called PartyNextDoor which was dropped on the iTunes Store and earned success. The tape charted at No.6 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart and sold over two thousand copies as well as reached #34 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart where it stayed for one week.  Jahron found new management which changed his artist’s name to PartyNextDoor after a Loop production filter and set out as a solar performing artist. As soon as he was producing his own music, he got an opportunity to sign a deal with Drake’s label. He became the first artist to sign to Drake’s OVO Sound label. In July of 2013, PartyNextDoor released his self-titled debut featuring Drake on the single Over Here. Following this Party jumped on Drake’s 3rd album Nothing Was the Same on tracks Own It and Come Through. Following this success, he dropped his studio album titled PartyNextDoor Two on July 30, 2014. PartyNextDoor came up with the release of his 4-track extended play entitled PNDColours which he dropped in December 2014. He followed that up with COLOURS 2, which dropped in 2017. In 2015 Drake offered to write three songs for him including If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late: “Legend, Preach, and Wednesday Night Interlude.  In early 2016 PartyNextDoor saw success when he got a chance to write a song entitled Work which was included as a lead single in Rihanna’s eighth studio album Anti. The track became the biggest success by staying on Billboard Hot 100 for 9 consecutive weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100. In March of that year, he teamed up with Drake to release the single Come and See Me which later include his second studio album, PartyNextDoor 3. For the music video of the song, the featuring appearance came from Kylie Jenner, Big Sean, and Jhené Aiko. He followed that up with the release of another single Like That with Jeremih and Lil Wayne. His extended play Seven Days was released in September of 2017 and the featuring appearances came from artists like Rick Ross and Halsey.  PartyNextDoor continued to release two more singles The News and Loyal which later came up as the lead singles from his upcoming album Partymobile. On the 27th of March 2020, his album Partymobile was eventually released via OVO Sound and Warner Records. The album contains tracks like Believe It (featuring Rihanna), Nothing Less, Turn Up, Trauma, Loyal (ft. Drake), Showing You, and Eye on It. Moreover, the album reached number four and number eight on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums (Billboard) chart and US Billboard 200 chart respectively.
