xQc started his professional career as an Overwatch player for the Dallas Fuel in the year 2018 Overwatch League before a couple of suspensions would see him altering his career path a little and going full-time on Twitch. He streamed upwards of nine hours a day and his fans can’t get enough.  xQc came to the spotlight after creating his xQcOW channel on the Twitch platform. Early Life:

xQc was born on the Félix Lengyel on the 12th of November 1995 in the city of Laval, located in Southwestern Québec, Canada. Felix enjoyed playing video games with his older brother Nick, from the early stages of his life. He also enjoyed performing tricks on skateboards and motorbikes all of which he recorded on his camera. On top of that Felix was also a troublemaker. While studying in school, he often gets into trouble in class for using English that he’s picked up while gaming. His first language was naturally French but while playing games he picked up a whole new language in order to understand and follow those series of storylines. While playing games with players, he’d get teased by other English-speaking gamers.  After completing high school, xQc went on to study humanities and administration at the post-secondary education pre‑university technical college in Quebec. But after three and a half years he dropped out to pursue an online career.

Career With Esport:

Shortly after he dropped out of college, xQc created his own Twitch account and kicked off a brand new career for himself. At the beginning of his Twitch career, his content was mainly focused on the video game series titled League Of Legends which was released in his native French Language. Around this time, he came up with the handle for creating the acronym xQc by pulling out the xQc from the phrase Félix Québec.  In May of 2016, a new game called Overwatch launched, and xQc’s came up to the top of the Twitch ranks and coincide with the rise and popularity of this blockbuster new series of games. After quickly establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with in the gaming industry professional league came for recruiting and in October 2016 Felix collaborated with Daniel Esports as the official member of their Overwatch team. Overwatch League:

xQc and many of his team members then established a new group named Arc 6 however they two disbanded due to the formation of the official Overwatch League by the game’s developer Blizzard before the end of the year. Soon after Feliz teamed up with Dallas Fuel as one of the 20 teams competing for this new League’s championship. But his time with this roaster proved to be short in life and he wound up being suspended twice by League Officials for using disparaging comments against others. After the two suspensions, Felix and Dallas Fuel mutually agreed to part ways in March of 2018. That same year xQc started playing for Team Canada at the Overwatch World Cup and he’d be a part of the team Canada for about 3 years. From 2017 to 2019 Felix concentrated on growing his brand on Twitch. After being hit with that first suspension from the Overwatch League he crossed the 1 million followers less than two years later in January of 2019. Suspensions:

When it comes to streaming on Twitch, xQc has been suspended multiple times throughout the course of his career. In Feburary of 2020, he faced a three-day suspension for watching some videos in a game.  Then in June of that same year, he received another 24 hours suspension. Later he received a 7-day suspension after he threw games on stream. Eventually, in July of 2021, Felix saw his account suspended once more after the international Olympics community issued a copyright strike for him streaming some of their contests on his channel. Luckily his account was quickly unbanned after xQc decided to issue a counterclaim just at the right time too because 2021 was such a big year for Felix. According to some real reports, throughout the 2021 xQc earned more than 261 million hours of viewership and no other streamer on Twitch was able to surpass 200 million hours.  But despite his unquestionable success, xQc has also been dealing with the downside of fame when it comes to being a streamer. While living in Lose Angeles it became a regular occurrence for Felix to find himself in interrupted his nine hours of streaming sessions when people called the local officers and give them his house address telling the authorities that he was in immediate danger. The police also showed up at his place only to see it was all a lie. From there, Felix decided to return to his hometown in Canada.

xQc started dating fellow Twitch star AdeptTheBest and the two had been in a serious relationship in 2019. In early 2021 the couple announced that they are in a relationship but things quickly changed and they broke up. Although there are some rumors circulating that they are still in a relationship.
